Steve
Elkington, a professional golfer from Australia, has previously demonstrated his troglodytic
view of the world (apparently fueled by that old enabler, alcohol) with tweets
that would embarrass even the most shameless among us.
However, his most recent hateful smear of Michael Samis, as the
expression goes, is the new leader in the
clubhouse,. Time to return the
favor.

One of my favorite jokes ever was performed by an edgy British comedian on a PBS show sometime in the 1990s, I believe. Imagine a scruffy, 30ish, punkish bloke with a heavy cockney accent riffing jokes on the telly. He was describing his recent travels to Australia. When he got to Customs, the agent began to review his passport. The agent then asked, “Criminal record?” To which the comedian replied, “I didn’t know you still needed one!”
To
paraphrase the immortal words of my favorite California Burgundy, “Stay classy,
Mr. Elkington”.
