Fowler A Lock For The Hazeltine 12. Always Was.

The lede in the news stories this morning concerning Rickie Fowler's lead in The Barclays after the third round yesterday centered on his quest to qualify for the United States Ryder Cup team for the event to be held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota,  in late September.  Come on, was  there any doubt Fowler would represent the U.S at on the shores of Lake Hazeltine this year?  Regardless of whether he wins today, or excels in the FedEx Cup playoff series during the next few weeks, Fowler was going to be a captain's choice of Team USA whether he was in the top eight  automatic qualifiers or not.  If Fowler holds on and wins today (or finishes third or above), great.  But one of the Four Horsemen of the ApocaLinks was not going to be AWOL from the War on the Shore (of Lake Hazeltine) this year.
