Fantasy Thoughts

My fantasy golf season admittedly has not been the greatest success this year.  I am currently ranked sixth out of six teams in my league in Yahoo Sports! Fantasy Golf.  Not a distant sixth, but still the caboose in the standings. 

However, my prospects are picking up.  Last week, one of my starters was Jim Furyk, who, until his routine collapse on the last day was the sure winner of the RBC Canadian Open.  He still finished second.  This week at Firestone I decided to ride Sergio’s hot hand from the Open Championship and and selected him as one of my four starters.  The others were Rory Mac (how did he do in the Open Championship, anyway?), Keegan Bradley and Rickie Fowler, another hot hand coming off his tie for second with Sergio in the Open Championship at Hoylake two weeks previously.  Well, look at that scoreboard.  As I live and breathe! Sergio leads Rory by only three strokes,  Keegan is tied for third and Ricky is threatening a top ten finish.  This will surely jinx it, but, You Go, Golf Album Bloggers!
